Accepted (2006)

This is a great movie about how beautiful things may come from a desperate try to fit in the general model "Going to college is the key to success and happiness". South Harmon Institute of Technology (abb. SHIT), "founded" by 4 guys whose candidatures were rejected from every college they applied for, is the ideal place for those who don't fit in, those who were kicked out from everywhere, those who are a bit different from the masses, those who don't know where they're going and what they're looking for in this life but they want to find it and to have fun in the process.

All those people were accepted "by mistake" to the non-existing college and this gave them the chance to learn, to move forward and allowed them to avoid ruining their lives by thinking that they are loosers because they didn't go to college. Quoting "dean" Lewis, many young people are going to college only due to the prospect of a well paid job.

This movie shows how talents can be discovered and bloom if they have the appropriate conditions, which are freedom of choice, lack of or disregard for ambient pressure and a strong desire to learn and to be better. It inspires you to discover your own hidden talents, makes you want to change the world and feel like everything is possible.
